Gintama Ep 32

Wai, that was a good episode. This episode really proved that I really want Shinsengumi to show up in EVERY episode. Anyway since this will be my last episode review for this year most likely(unless Bleach's filler arc ends by the end of this year), I will summarize it briefly.

Gintoki, Yamazaki, and Kondo get captured by criminals, who were pretending to be running a factory. Other members of Shinsengumi come to stop the bad guys as well as Shinpachi and Kagura.
Gintoki then remembers everything as everyone tries so hard to help and protect him.
In the end, Gintoki gets the good part by defeating the boss and the Yorozuya trio reunites. ^O^ Anyway this whole 'amnesia' thing reminded me of Kanon somehow even though the process is totally different. But in any manner, amnesia is always a rather sentimental theme for animes I think.


Yes! Gin-san is not alone!!! Everyone is here with him. (Hijikata-san gakkoissu! >O<)

I think Yamazaki deserves a spotlight in some way. ^O^ He was sooooo cute. >_<


Ko...Kondo-san daijoubu???
I think Kondo-san had the roughest time in this arc. -_-; He lost his memories twice in total. T_T

Gintama Ep 31

I thought this episode was really good so I decided to blog it. Anyway Gintoki loses all of his memories after getting a terrible car accident... I though he will have his memories back by the end of the episode but unfortunately that was not the case here.
Yes, it's continuing to the next episode which really WTF me in a good way. It's good to have a serious plot like this too.
The episode in general was very funny though.


AHAHA GIN-SAN MOTTE MOTTE!!! ^O^
Gin-san is so popular that everyone is so going for him. (,,,and of course I'm partly wrong here ^_^;) Sacchan kawaisssu. ^O^


Gin-san tells Tae nee-sama that he will try to remember her, which makes her to *blush. (Tae nee-sama mo kawaissu ^O^) I always liked the idea of Gintoki x Tae pairing so this part made me giggle. (Kondo x Tae is okay too)
Talking about pairings, I never liked Gintoki x Sacchan pairing even though I like Sacchan a lot. -_-;


Gin-san suggests that Shinpachi and Kagura shouldn't try any further to get his memories back and tells them that the Yorozuya trio should be separated. ,,,and he leaves.

NOOOOOOO GIN-SAN DON'T GO!!!!!
But I'm sure things will turn out just fine.

As for Hijikata-san...


He had a just brief air time chasing Katsura but I hope he will take a good part in the next ep. (,,and Okita-kun too)


I'm definitely blogging the next episode so look forward to it. ^O^

Gintama Ep 27

Gintoki&Okita&Hijikata threesome goodness after a long time.
Yes, it is always the best when these three show up together.

YAPPARI OKITA-KUN WA KAWAIIYO!!!
WHY DOES OKITA-KUN GET ALL THE LOVE FROM THE ANIMATORS??? The animation quality in general for this episode was low but Okita-kun was looking great for most of the time. (,,,and in other episodes too)


Anyway this series has gotten quite boring lately(particularly from ep 25, where they changed the op and the ed) but this episode was better than the last two since Shinsengumi was somehow involved and there were some dramatic elements. Hopefully it will get better but I do have to admit that I've lost a bit of interest in this series. (but not completely)

Gintama 2nd op & 3rd ed

In episode 25, we get a new op and a new ed, which was earlier than I expected. I don't really like the song as much as the 1st one but I rather like the animation. ^O^

3rd ending:


...MINNA HONKISUGI. ^__^;;;

The new ending animation kinda reminds me of Gundam SEED Destiny. (As expected from Sunrise -_^;) Anyway I really like the song as well as the animation. (<=especially the scene where Gintoki looks up and smiles ^O^) I definitely like the new ending better than the opening.

Gintama Ep 20

This one's gotta be one of the best episodes so far. ^O^ Anyway the Yorozuya three(Gintoki, Shinpachi, and Kagura) and the Shinsengumi three(Kondo, Hijikata, and Okita) try to capture the ghost that has been targeting the members of Shinigami. But later, they find out that it wasn't really a ghost but was an amanto, who behaves like a mosquito. (like sucking people's blood and flies) Anyway we now know that both Gin-san and Hijikata-san are such SCARED CATS. (lol) But it was so funny to see both of them trying to act tough but hiding all over the place because of their fear.
...but OMG Hijikata-san look how much mayonnaise you got on your food. (in the last screen cap) He's a tough guy with a weird taste in food lol. -o^;
Oh yes, Okiya-kun was hilarious as always and Yamazaki-kun was cute. ^O^

Gintama Ep 19

This episode was okay but I didn't find it very funny. (but some scenes were funny lol) That's probably because I don't find Hasegawa's character very interesting but I can't help but to think of Kenpachi from Bleach whenever I hear his voice. (both are voiced by Tachiki Fumihiko-san btw ^_^;) Basically this was a beach episode that showed Hasegawa's passion with the sea. To summarize what happened, the group went to the beach to defeat the sea monster(of course that's an excuse;;;) but found out that there's no need to since the giant fish wasn't a bad creature.

It was kinda funny to see how Gin-san's face expression changes according to summer's heat. lol


Anyway from looking at the preview, the next episode is going to be a good one(again, it's another Shinsengumi episode), which I'm looking forward to watch. ^O^

Gintama Ep 18

This one was one of the funniest episode so far but it was also the very first time for this anime to have such inconsistent animation. (particularly Hijikata-san -_-;) Anyway Yorozuya three, Tae, and Shinsengumi work as a team to capture Kaito Fundoshi Kamen, who's been robbering lingeries. (which reminded me of that lingerie thief episode from Mai-HiME lol) Silly little Yamazaki-kun acting dumb with his heavy armor thingy was just hilarious. Also the whole process of their team work was just so funny. lol

Poor Kondo-san had the hardest time in this episode. -_-;

Even among all the inconsistency in animation, Okita-kun's bishieness was still shining. ^O^ But he is wacky as always. -3-;

Gintama Ep 17

To be honest, I never read any of the manga material beyond volume 3 for this series. However, there's something I realized from watching this episode.

WE NEED MORE TAKASUGI FOR THIS SERIES.

Takasugi wasn't really psycho in this episode as what I heard about him. (more like immature>psycho -_-') He was rather charismatic. (Gotta love Koyasu-san's voice)
Anyway he was trying to screw up the summer festival using the robots the old man made but failed as one of the old man's robot(which seemed like it had his son's memory) denied to attack Gintoki. Anyway that was the touching part of this episode.
Other than that, lots and lots of hilarious moments again. (Poor Hasegawa-san again,,, -_-;) The only complaint I have with this episode is that they should have shown the episode that deals with the chapter, where it shows how Kagura and Okita becomes rivals, before this one. (which was my favourite chapter of the manga lol)
,,,Btw Sunrise sure likes to do parodies on their previous works, eh?
